Today I welcome Dr. Anthea Todd onto the Health After 30 Podcast. Also known as the doctor that gives female health advice from a skateboard, Anthea discusses the importance of listening to our bodies and understanding the messages they are sending us.

She emphasizes that your body (or your symptoms) are not the problem, but rather a way for your body to communicate with you.

Anthea encourages women to:

  • Trust their intuition
  • Connect with their bodies to determine what type of care they need
  • Take a holistic approach to health and address your underlying patterns and beliefs.

Anthea discusses the importance of understanding and balancing what she calls the four female fundamentals: The nervous system, metabolism, nutrients, and blood sugars.

She explains that when these fundamentals are in balance, negative symptoms fall away and positive ones emerge.

The biggest take home message is the need to listen to and trust your body, as it provides valuable information about your health.

Overall, her goal is to empower women to take control of their health and understand that their bodies are on their side.
